Beverly Poyerd began her music training at age five and studied piano, performance and theory at the Henry Street Settlement School and the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music in New York City. After a career in the brokerage industry, she continued her musical studies, graduating Summa Cum Laude from SUNY New Paltz with a degree in Piano Performance in 2005. She performs as a soloist and accompanist in both the classical and jazz genres. She is a member of the MTNA, NGPT and Suzuki Association of the Americas.
